Kathleen Fitzgerald is a portrait photographer and writer who began studying photography while living in Japan, and later at the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

“Divas, Dames & Dolls – A Celebration of the Female Spirit” is her first book of portraits and profiles. The Divas photo collection was exhibited at the National Arts Club in New York, the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) in North Carolina, and the Marketing-to-Women Conference at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Her second book, “Soaring Spirits – The Female Quest for Vitality and Victory,” was commissioned by GlaxoSmithKline. It showcases the inspirational lives and thought-provoking perspectives of women who competed in the Senior Olympic Games.

Kathleen grew up on Long Island, NY and lives in Davidson, NC. She is a frequent guest speaker at corporate and arts venues.
